Discipleship Bible Studies 

The Immense Need

We praise God that some Iranians have been saved as a result of the exploratory Bible studies we have run over the past 15 years. Like sheep without a shepherd, these new believers need much attention, especially as most have no theological knowledge or background.

A New Calling

Due to their ongoing pastoral needs they are often fed into the local church to experience ‘church community’ as this is also an alien concept to those from an Islamic background. 

In conjunction with this they are taught regularly from the Scriptures by our in-house Farsi Bible teacher. The learning curve is steep as expressed by one of our new believers below but we praise the Lord he is responsible for their growth. (1 Corinthians 3:7).

How to Pray

 
Farsi-speakers face immense pressure from many angles when they declare Christ as Lord. Even in the UK some receive death threats so pray for them to remain strong and for us as we seek to ground them in the word of God.
